Limited Edition young Gouda made with the first milking of the Spring
This cheese is a young Gouda made from the first milking of the spring. It’s the milk collected after the cows graze on the Spring grass for the first time that year. This special cheese is creamier than traditional Gouda because the milk contains more fat. With a rich, sweet, buttery taste, this cheese can be melted on a burger, used in omelettes, or served with fresh fruit. Pairs well with Riesling and soft reds.
All of our cheeses are cut to order and the cost is based on the actual weight. Advance order is preferred. Just let us know what you would like to order and approximately how much of each cheese (ie: 1/4 pound, 1/3 pound, 1/2 pound, etc…), and we’ll then arrange a convenient time for you to pick up your completed order.
