Burrata, meaning “buttery” in Italian is a fresh Italian cheese made from cow’s milk mozzarella, while the inside contains a soft, doughy, stringy, mixture of curd and fresh cream. Beautifully balanced in taste, Burrata is a perfect blend of contrasting textures working together. Its soft shell wrapped around a creamy center delivers an explosion of sensations and a buttery consistency unlike any other. Pairs best with a white wine, however, if the Burrata is served with accompaniments such as fruit, balsamic vinegar, tomatoes and basil or chutney, the wine pairing should be adjusted accordingly.
All of our cheeses are cut to order and the cost is based on the actual weight. Advance order is preferred. Just let us know what you would like to order and approximately how much of each cheese (ie: 1/4 pound, 1/3 pound, 1/2 pound, etc…), and we’ll then arrange a convenient time for you to pick up your completed order.
