Dewatsuru, Sakura Eamki Rose

Categories: ,

The brewers call this pure rice sake a Rose` Sake because it is made with an ancient heirloom purple rice varietal, which gives this brew a purple color. The nose on this unique sake is a gentle collection of cherry, cocoa, and honey blossom aromas. Talk about a fun and interesting drinking experience. This special sake is round, semi-sweet, and juicy. Smooth and chewy it really fills the palate with semi-rich flavors of sweet tomatoes, honey, pear, and hint of melted berry Popsicle. It is very well balanced and extremely elegant with only a 12% alcohol content. A great “new world” sake that is very user friendly, but founded in an ancient rice varietal. How cool is that?
