Fromager d’Affinois Herbed Double Cream is made by Fromagerie Guilloteau near Pelussin in the Rhone Valley. Made with added cream then infused with garlic and fine herbs, the curd is contained by a fine white mould. The exterior is enrobed with dried herbs, making for a striking presentation and accentuating the robust flavour within.
The silky texture of this cheese distinguishes it from other traditional white rind types. It is the perfect addition to any cheese plate, and can also be incorporated into many traditional recipes in order to elevate the flavor.
The Dashe Zinfandel Reserve pairs well with the garlic in the Fromager d’Affinois Herbed Double Cream or the Château de Bligny Grand Reserve Brut Champagne.
