L’Amuse Signature Gouda is a Dutch cheese from Northern Holland and made from pasteurized cow’s milk. It’s considered the best of all goudas. This hard cheese has a nutty, buttery, salty flavor with hints of caramel and hazelnuts with a very deep, complex long finish. Enjoy chunks with espresso or shave into traditional recipes for macaroni and cheese, grated on top of tomato soup or mixed into pasta. A meal within a wheel, if you will. Calls for Port, stouts, Scotch, whisky and Bourbon.
All of our cheeses are cut to order and the cost is based on the actual weight. Advance order is preferred. Just let us know what you would like to order and approximately how much of each cheese (ie: 1/4 pound, 1/3 pound, 1/2 pound, etc…), and we’ll then arrange a convenient time for you to pick up your completed order.
